Rajasthan Royals won by 10 runs against Delhi

Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils both are two poor competitor in ongoing season of Indian Premier League. Poor means both of them seen defeat in their opening match in the competition. However, Rajasthan Royals has come to the competition couple of years later. They suffered two seasons banishment from the competition due to some illegal actions. Now, they have come to compete here once again. On the other side, Delhi Daredevils is one of the founding member of IPL and in the opening season of Indian Premier League, they played semi final. However, in the last head to head battle between two teams, Rajasthan Royals won by 10 runs against Delhi.

It was the 6th match of the ongoing season of IPL and the 2nd match of the two teams in the tournament. However, in 11th April, 2018 the match between them was taken place at the home venue of Rajasthan Royals Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Though, Delhi Daredevils got the toss winning favour but they failed to use it against the opponent. Basically, Delhi had nothing to do with it. They faced their 2nd defeat in the match due to D/L method. The match was affected by rain at the ending moment of the batting of RR. They played 17.5 overs and finished their innings. On the other hand, DD was set a target of chasing 71 runs in only six overs. DD failed to do so and lost the match.

Rajasthan Royals came to bat first by losing the toss in the match. But due to rain they did not play full 20 overs. With Rahane and Short RR started their innings. Short failed to make longer innings. But skipper Rahane played a bit well and scored 45 runs so far. So, team RR finished their innings scoring 153 runs in exchange for five wickets. THey played total 17.5 overs in their innings. Shahbaz took two wickets for DD.

Due to rain, DD were given target of chasing 71 runs in just 6 overs. So, with Maxwell and Munro started chasing. Maxwell scored 17 runs and Munro failed to open his account. DD lost total four wickets in six overs but could not meet the requirement. They ended their inning scoring 60 runs so far. So, Rajasthan Royals won by 10 runs considering DL method.
