Rajasthan Royals took revenge against KXIP

Just a day before yesterday, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab faced against each other. The match took place at the home venue of Kings XI Punjab. In the match, KXIP won the match. As the host team, they played with full confidence. So, result was on their side. But, in recent time, Rajasthan Royals got the same enemy at their home venue and this time, local team Rajasthan Royals took revenge against KXIP.

Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab are not in good position in the ongoing season iof Indian Premier League. Both of them could not qualify for the next playoff round but the chance will be for one of them it seems. So, now the fight between them was so important.

In an very important match, Rajasthan Royals got an amazing victory. The match between them was the 40th match in the tournament. It was the 2nd match between them and both of them has couple of matches in hand. The rest matches will decide their next step. The match between them was took place in 8th May, 2018 and the host venue was Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

At the home venue of Rajasthan Royals, they also got the toss and decided to bat first. So, RR came to bat with their own decision. Rahane and Buttler started to bat as openers. Rahane did not do much but Buttler played well. He scored highest 82 runs so far. He did not get proper company in the field but some players like Samson who scored 22 runs, Stokes scored 14 runs and Binny scored 11 runs respectively. So, at the end of 20 overs Rajasthan Royals scored 158 runs by losing eight wickets. Tye took highest four wickets for KXIP.

The score was good enough but KXIP has a record to chase such type of score. Rahul and Gayle started to chase for KXIP. Gayle once again failed. He scored only one run. Rahul once again played well and remained not out with 95 runs so far. He played 70 balls and made eleven 4’s and two 6’s. But there were no players to give him a company. No one can stand for a long. Just Stoinis reached two figure runs. he scored 11 runs for the team. In 20 overs, Kings Xi Punjab scored 143 runs by losing seven wickets. So, KXIP faced a defeat by 15 runs against Rajasthan Royals.
