Earlier in yesterday evening, Perth Scorchers started to play against Sydney Sixers at the home venue of Scorchers. Perth won the toss and chose to field first. Their decision was so right which was proved later. At the beginning of the innings, Sixers lost their first and top three wickets within just 17 runs and fallen into great pressure. Later, Henriques who was the skipper of Sixers tried to make a partnership with Haddin which added almost 50 runs to the scorecard. Haddin scored 38 runs which was the highest for the team. Total three batsmen of Sixers crossed twenty runs figure named Henriques, Haddin and Botha. Rest players could not make two figure runs. so far. SO, at the end of their innings, they scored only 141 runs by losing nine wickets where Richardson and Bresnan took highest three wickets each for Scorchers.

141 runs was so poor in front of any Australian teams because they naturally scored more than 150 runs by playing any 20 overs match. So, Scorchers played simply and started to chase the score. At their opening partnership, Scorchers added 75 runs when Whiteman was out with his individual 41 runs. Later, Klinger and Bell took them to the victory. Klinger scored highest 71 runs for the team.

Richardson was announced as the player of the match due to his brilliant bowling spell where Chris Lynn was announced as the player of the series. Though, Lynn could not played all the match with Brisbane Heat due to national call but those few matches he played, he showed his batting magic.

However, now the sixth season of Big Bash League 2016/17 has successfully finished and now waiting for the upcoming season of it.
