Perth Scorchers won by 6 wickets

Perth Scorchers is the most successful team in Big Bash League since the beginning of the tournament and also they are the current champion of the competition. In the running 7th season, their performance is so charming and yet to face any defeat. They have played total four matches in the season and managed all four victories. In their last match against Sydney Sixers, Perth Scorchers won by 6 wickets.

It was the 2nd meeting between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers where in the first meeting, Scorchers did beat Sixers which was staged in 23rd December, 2017. The first competition was the game of round two. But in the last meeting between them was the 14th match of the tournament this season which was staged in 1st january, 2018. It was the competition of round four.

Perth Scorchers till now played total four matches in the running season of Big Bash and managed four victories. As a result, they are in top position on the BBL point table and currently the most potential team as well. It seems that they are going for another title. On the other side, Sydney Sixers is now standing on the 7th position on the point table and they are showing the most disappointing performance in the season. They played four matches also and lost all four times so far.

In their last match which was against Perth Scorchers, Scorchers won the toss and let the Sixers to bat first. Sixers batsmen played well and also presented a handsome target in front of Scorchers. They scored 167 runs in 20 overs. They lost just four wickets. Jordan Silk scored highest 45 runs for Sixers. But in return, by playing 19.1 overs Perth Scorchers reached the destination where they also lost four wickets. So, they won by six wickets against Sydney Sixers.

Came to bat, Jason Roy once again failed to show his quality. He scored just 6 runs. But rest players scored good amount of runs. Nevill scored 33 runs, Maddinson scored 30 runs. Silk remained not out with 45 runs and Millings scored 33 runs so far. So, in selected 20 overs Sydney Sixers scored 167 runs.

On the other hand, Perth Scorchers stumbled in just 4 runs when their opener Willey was gone with 1 run. In 17 runs 2nd wicket Cartwright was gone who scored 10 runs. Later, in the 3rd wicket partnership between Klinger and Turner, they added almost 100 runs when Turner was gone with 45 runs but Klinger remained still and fought bravely. He scored highest 83 runs and claimed the player of the match award. So, in 19.1 overs by losing four wickets, Scorchers reached the destination.
