wicket keeper batsman of Sri Lanka team Kushal Perera might be banned from any sort of cricket for four years since there have been traces of illegal drugs on his body.

ICC had the test last month and found out that there is traces of some illegal products on his body and banned  from playing till this problem gets cleared out. loosing him was a big blow but Sri Lanka sent Perera back in the country and try to get things okay with him.

Back then both Sri lankan media and their Cricket Board said that they will appeal against this and they will make sure that Perera is returned to playing as soon as possible. they also said, Perea gave 4 yest before this and he was okay on each of those. So, there might be a chance of some sort of mistake and they are working on solving the problem.

However, even in the local test in the country they found the traces and this might cause them to loose Perera for a longer period of time. Considering T20 World Cup and Asia Cup is at hand, it will be a big blow to their cricket.

According to law if ICC, a player might be banned up to 4 years if they find any sort of illegal drugs on the body of the player. While Sri Lankan cricket board will want this time to be much shorter but there is a chance of this happening. Overall its more or less sure that he will not be able to play i the upcoming world cup.
