After six years, international cricket has returned to the Pakistan. In last year, team Zimbabwe visited Pakistan and played three One Day Internationals and two T20Is. Since then, the cricket fans of Pakistan are waiting for more other teams to visit their country.

However, their neighbours country Afghanistan were linked up to visit Pakistan to play three ODI matches along with a four days game against the Pakistan A team but later their schedule was cancelled due to bomb blast just near the Gadaffi stadium one month ago from the tour. And now, it seems that the waiting period of Pakistani fans have come to an end and soon the new tournament will be hosted at Pakistan.

As stated by some sources which are close to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), international cricket might come back to Pakistan in next middle of 2017. However, the sources also revealed that Sri Lanka and West Indies are in talk with PCB about visiting. And if this is true, they will visit Pakistan after finishing Pakistan Super League (PSL) in March, 2017.

According to the sources, AFP stated that the official committee of PCB are in talk with Windies and Lankan cricket boards to make a final conclusion which have felt interest about travelling Pakistan.

After so many speculation the reporters want to kown the final venue of PSL 2017 which could be staged at Pakistan but they just refused to make any confirmation too early though PCB chief executive Najam Sethi once hinted about their home tournament during a TV show in Pakistan but even he did not disclose the fact.

Almost seven years have passed when Pakistan played a home Test match but from 2009, they used to play their home match in United Arab Emirates. However, international cricket will be welcome  to Pakistan and through this other cricket playing nation would be inspired to make tour to them.
