Pakistani Leg Spinner Yasir Shah banned for 4 months by ICC. He was found guilty in the dope test and therefore it was obvious that he would be punished for that. Although he cleared that this might be a result of some sort of medicine but still finding traces of illegal drugs on him already showed that he will be punished and there was a chance that his punishment will be big but that didn’t happen. His punishment was quite short but that didn’t save him or the team as he will neither be able to play in Asia cup nor in the upcoming T20 world Cup. Thus, it will be a big blow to his country as he was one of the best bowler Pakistan team had in their arsenal.

The international player was found positive in dope testing in last November during Pakistan match against England in the England series and was banned from any sort of plays temporarily till everything became clear about this incident.
PCB applied against this and said that this happened because he took medicine for high blood pressure and it appears that ICC agreed to that. Otherwise, it was pretty obvious that he would be banned from cricket for more than a year. However, the little 4 month ban shows that ICC is warning him to not make this sort of behavior in the near future and wants him to be more careful from now on.
