Pakistan is one of the top rated and powerful cricket team in the World but they are still unpredictable. They were visiting New Zealand few days ago where they played a One Day International series and faced a great whitewash against the Black Caps. They failed to win a single match where the ODI series consisted of five matches. Later, they started to play a T20I series against the same team but once again at the first match, they were defeated. They seen their first victory in the 2nd T20I against New Zealand and so, they made balance to the T20I tournament by 1 – 1. Finally they managed their 2nd victory and so, Pakistan won T20I series against New Zealand.

Team Pakistan is in top position on T20 World ranking considering ICC where Black Caps is in 4th position. So, it was almost certain that Pakistan will win the T20I series. But after a ODI series defeat they were about to lose the T20I series as well. But they are unpredictable. So, they turned their back and won consecutive two matches an managed the T20 series against New Zealand. It would be good if they did able to whitewash Black Caps.

In the 3rd T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand which was also a day/ night match, it was staged in 28th January, 2018. Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui was the host arena of the last match. Shaun Haig and Wayne Knights both were the field umpires and both are from New Zealand.

Earlier the match in 28th January, 2018 Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Like last match, team Pakistan wanted to present a handsome score which could be tough for Black Caps to chase. And they somewhat did it. Team Pakistan played complete 20 overs and presented 181 runs in front of Black Caps. They lost only six wickets in the meantime. Fakhar Zaman scored highest 46 runs by facing 36 balls for Pakistan. For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner took two wickets so far.

181 runs is not much but in T20 format, it was tough to chase. By facing 120 balls to score 181 runs was so difficult even for local team New Zealand. So, Black Caps came to bat and started to chase the score. They also played full 20 overs but failed to chase the score successfully. Their innings finished scoring 163 runs. Martin Guptill scored highest 59 runs. He faced 43 balls so far. For the Green Shirts, Shadab Khan took two wickets so far. He reduced the opponent run rate and played the vital role for Pakistan.
