Pakistan secured ODI series by winning 3rd match

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are currently playing a ODI series which is hosted in United Arab Emirates or UAE. The ODI series consists of five matches and to secure the series, one must win three matches among them. However, earlier, the Green Army already faced a Test series defeat against the Lions in UAE and so, the have started the ODI series with very confident. They also won the first two ODI matches against Sri Lanka and yesterday the 3rd ODI between them was hosted in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan secured ODI series by winning 3rd match against the Lions in Abu Dhabi. They won by seven wickets so far. Earlier, The Lions won the toss and decided to bat first. But they just scored 208 runs. In return, Pakistan chased the score easily by losing just three wickets. Now, Pakistan has secured the series by 3 – 0. They have dreamt of to whitewash Sri Lanka in ODI series now.

However, the Lions came to bat by winning the toss and also their opener made a very good start and opening partnership added 59 runs to the scoreboard. Hasan Ali made the first breakthrough and his prey was Dickwella who just scored 18 runs so far. Skipper Tharanga stood alone at the end of the crease and Chandimal tried to company him but got out early. Later, Tharanga could not stood long but scored highest 61 runs for the team. Sri Lanka has very talented batsmen in the squad but their experiences are not so rich. Rest middle orders and lower orders were failed completely in front of the Shaheens bowlers. Perera scored 38 runs so far. However, they could not play the fifty overs but got all out in 48.2 overs so far.

Hasan Ali was the lead attacker yesterday against Sri Lanka. Mainly he destroyed Lankan batting line up. He took highest five wickets for the team.

In return, Imam ul Haq who is a newly added cricketer in Pakistan team and made his debut match yesterday against the Lions, and made it a history. He made a century in his debut match and becoming the 13th batsman in the World to do it. He and Fakhar Zaman started the innings very well and Fakhar could not last long but scored 29 runs for the team. Later babar Azam came up who scored two centuries in first two matches. But yesterday, he scored just 30 runs. Imam scored just 100 in 125 ball. Later, Malik and Hafeez led the team to victory.
