Team Pakistan won the toss and thought their luck is well just like before and came to bat. But their openers Fakhar Zaman and Ahmed Shehzad made a poor start. They even could not hold their ground much longer. Like last match, they were failed again. Pakistan Cricket Board should think their alternatives deeply. Their opening partnership was broken in just 17 runs when Fakhar Zaman got out with his 11 runs. He faced total 11 balls so far. Just ten runs later, 2nd wicket Ahmed Shehzad was gone with individual 8 runs. babar Azam was the one down player and still fighting against the Lions bowlers. Though, he could not do better in Test series but in ODI, he is very effective player indeed.

He tried to make a long lasting partnership but last match’s Shoaib malik and Mohammad Hafeez were failed completely. They scored just 8 and 11 runs gradually. Team skipper Sarfraz Ahmed was bowled by Perera with just five runs. Imad Wasim was the another all – rounder but got out with just 10 runs. After losing six most important wickets, team Pakistan faced another batting collapsed in the 2nd ODI and last hope is the partnership between Babar and Shadab Khan. They have already added more than 40 runs to the scoreboard. Shadab still batting with 14 runs where Babar Azam is in crease with highest 71 runs so far.

The Lankan bowlers were quite successful in the match it seems. They able to tie the Pakistan’s innings early they hope. Gamage and Perera took highest two wickets each for the Lions.
