Pakistan cricket team recently completed their visit in Zimbabwe. They were scheduled to play two Test matches, three ODIs and two T20Is against the local team Zimbabwe. But later it was reduced to the five ODI matches so far. The tour started with the first ODI in 13th July, 2018 and the 2nd ODI took place in 16th July, 2018. All matches were hosted at the same venue named Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. In the 2dn match team Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first. In the first match, Zimbabwe took bowl and they faced big defeat. So, they thought to take bat first and making a great total. But in vain. They did play 49.2 overs in the opening time. In the match, Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 9 wickets.

Chari and Chibhabha opened the innings for Zimbabwe. In 3 runs opener Chari was gone. He scored just 1 run. Just 15 runs later, Chibhabha followed the same way. He scored 7 runs only. Later, captain Masakadza and Musakanda made a partnership where Masakadza scored 59 runs and Musakanda scored 24 runs so far. The score of Masakadza was the highest in their innings. Later, another player Moor scored 50 runs. Based on their score team Zimbabwe presented 194 runs in front of Pakistan. Among rest players, Murray scored 16 runs, Tiripano scored 13 runs and Masakadza scored 12 runs so far. In 49.2 overs team Zimbabwe lost all wickets. Usman Khan took four wickets where Hasan Ali took three wickets for the Green Army.

Pakistan came to chase the score. Imam and Fakhar opened the innings for the Green Shirts. Imam got runout unfortunately. He scored 44 runs in the match. Finally, Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam led Pakistan to victory. Fakhar Zaman made an amazing century out there. He scored 117 runs in 129 balls. Team Pakistan had to play 36 overs to get the victory. And also their lost just 1 wicket so far. With the victory, team Pakistan is now leading the series by 2 – 0. Now, they have to win one more match to secure the series. But it seems that team Pakistan would whitewash the local team Zimbabwe this time.

Fakhar Zaman got the man of the match award due to his brilliant century. The 3rd match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will take place in 18th July, 2018 at the same venue.
