Mumbai Indians got big victory against KKR

Mumbai Indians is a franchise team in Indian Premier League that represents Mumbai in IPL. They can be considered as the most successful team in IPL by winning highest three titles of it. They are the defending champion of IPL which is also one of the founding member of the competition. In the 11th episode of Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians are showing almost good performance but their next round game is still questionable. They are in 6th position on the IPL point table and they have only couple of matches in hand. In their last match, Mumbai Indians got big victory against KKR or Kolkata Knight Riders.

Mumbai Indians got big victory against KKR

The match took place at the home venue of Kolkata Knight Riders but they failed to take the advantage. They faced a big victory against Mumbai Indians in the match. But still, Kolkata Knight Riders or KKR has a chance to jump to the playoff round. They are in 3rd position on the point table now and still number of the matches left.

The match between KKR and Mumbai Indians was the 41st match in the tournament IPL. In the ongoing season, this two teams have faced against each other total twice times and their last match was the 2nd head to head fight. Earlier in 6th May, 2018 they faced first time where MI won against them at the home venue. KKR wanted to take revenge at Eden Gardens but failed. Mumbai Indians won both times against KKR and in 2nd time, the victory was big.

In 9th May, 2018 at Eden Gardens the match between KKR and MI was executed. The match was day/night where local team KKR won the toss and decided to bowl first. So, Mumbai Indians came to bat. With Yadav and Lewis they started their innings. Yadav scored 36 runs and Lewis scored 18 runs so far. The partnership between Sharma and Ishan was so good. There Sharma scored 36 runs and Ishan scored 62 runs so far. Rest players like Pandya scored 19 runs and Cutting scored 24 runs for the team Mumbai Indians. At the end of 20 overs, MI presented a big total which was 210 runs in front of KKR. They lost six wickets totally.

Later, KKR tried hard to chase the score. But the failure of the top orders they even could not make any challenge there. They lost all wickets in 18.1 overs. They total scored 108 runs in the match and so, faced defeat by 102 runs.
