Chennai Super Kings which is also known as CSK has come back to the Indian Premier League once again after two seasons. They are one of the two teams which suffered two years punishment from IPL and did not able to take part in last two seasons of the competition. Now, they have regain the opportunity and back to the game. Now, in the ongoing season of IPL CSK is in very charming form. They won many matches in the season already and holding the top position on IPL point table. In their 7th match, they met Mumbai Indians where they faced their 2nd defeat. Through the match, Mumbai Indians back to winning streak.

The ongoing season seems not good for the defending champion Mumbai Indians. They faced defeat plenty of matches and in their 7th match, they won. Through the victory, they total won twice times in the season. As a result they are holding the last position where total participants in the tournament are eight.

Mumbai Indians played well in last season and won the title. They won number of IPL titles already but it seems that they are going to miss this time. CSK and some other franchise teams have chance in the season and they are moving towards the title strongly. It was an stumble for Chennai Super Kings but they have the ability to turn around in their next match.

The match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings was the 27th match of the ongoing season of IPL where the match took place at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium which is the home venue of CSK. But they failed to utilize it. The match between them was staged in 28th April, 2018 where Mumbai Indians won the toss and let CSK to bat first.

Watson and Rayudu started the innings for CSK where Rayudu played well. He scored 46 runs. Later Raina also played well and scored highest 75 runs and remain unbeaten till the last. He had no proper companion in the match and so, they failed to present a big total. At the end of the 20 overs, CSK lost five wickets and presented 169 runs in front of Mumbai Indians. McClenaghan and Pandya took two wickets each for MI.

With strong opener partnership, Mumbai Indians chased the score though they also lost first two wickets. Opener Yadav scored 44 runs and Lewis scored 47 runs so far. Later, captain Sharma scored 56 runs highest and left the crease with victory.
