Melbourne Stars will meet Hobart Hurricanes at Blundstone Arena

The sixth season of Big Bash League or BBL 2016/17 is going on and first round has already finished. 2nd round has started yesterday where Perth Scorchers defeated Adelaide Strikers by 48 runs. Second match of the 2nd round is yet to kick off and hold the match due to christmas celebration. In the second match Hobart Hurricanes will play against Melbourne Stars in next 26th December, 2016. It will be the second match of Hurricanes. However, Hurricanes won their first match against Sydney Sixers yesterday and became talk of the time. Though, at the beginning, they were not regarded as the favourite but being underdog, they defeated as one of the hot favourite Sixers where Sixers defeated Thunder at the opening match of the tournament. Now, Hurricanes are looking forward to beat Melbourne Stars in next match.

On the other hand, Melbourne Stars is regarded as the favourite in this ongoing tournament and yet to start their new season of BBL. They have plenty of great players in their team squad like Luke Wright, Pietersen, Maxwell, Hastings and some others. So, it seems to difficult to defeat them.

But the match will be hosted at the home venue of Hobart Hurricanes and so, they would receive advantage from there. Besides, they have changed their reputation by destroying Sixers in their last match and so, there is no more reason to jump off them. Especially, they will play at their home field.
