Lahore Whites beat Islamabad by 109 runs

The 14th season of National T20 Cup in Pakistan is going on where Lahore Whites and Islamabad are the two top contenders. This two franchise teams used to compete here in every season which is the domestic T20 competition in Pakistan. Lahore Whites and Islamabad has faced against each other earlier today where Lahore Whites beat Islamabad by 109 runs.

Team Lahore Whites is in great form in the season of National T20 Cup and won last four matches consecutively including the last one. They lost the toss against Islamabad and came to bat at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. By lose no wickets, they scored 209 runs in their innings where in return, Islamabad lost their all wickets by scoring just 100 runs in 18.4 overs. So, Lahore Whites got the easy victory over Islamabad.

However, Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt came to open the innings for Lahore Whites. Salman Butt is the captain of the team. This both finished the game and remained not out. Kamran Akmal played an extraordinary innings who scored 150 runs in 71 balls. That was exceptionally brilliant. And skipper Salman Butt scored 55 runs. This both players used to play with Pakistan national team once but due to some problems they are now out of the national team but in can play in domestic competition. Kamran Akmal is the wicketkeeper and an experienced T20 player who is very hard hitter. In the match, Kamran colored his innings by making fourteen 4’s and twelve 6’s. However, Butt made just eight boundaries in the match. So, they able to present a huge target in front of the Islamabad at last.

On the other hand, captain Shan Masood and Nauman Anwar started the innings for Islamabad. In just 11 runs, they lost Nauman Anwar who scored just 6 runs. At the both end of the crease, Islamabad used to lose wickets within a regular gap. Captain Shan Masood scored 17 runs. No player of Islamabad cross 20 runs milestone in the match but Raza Hasan scored highest 19 runs so far. In 18.4 overs Islamabad lost their all wickets when they scored just 100 runs. basically after seeing the huge runs milestone, Islamabad lost before came to bat. Asif Ali and Bilal Asif took three wickets for the team each where Wahab Riaz took two wickets so far. Kamran Akmal was announced as the player of the match.
