Lahore Qalandars won through Super Over

Lahore Qalandars is a franchise team in Pakistan Super League but they are in bad luck in the 3rd episode of the tournament. They are the first team which is eliminated from the group stage first. They played total eight matches in the season of PSL and managed just two victories including the last match. They played the 24th match in the tournament and the match was against Karachi Kings. In the match, Lahore Qalandars won through Super Over against Karachi Kings where the match finished with draw after 20 overs of playing. So, Super Over made the winner.

However, Karachi Kings is still one of the most potential franchise team in PSL 3 and the ongoing season they are in very charming form. They played total eight matches in the season where won four matches and lost three of them. Rest one match finished with no result and so the points were divided between two teams. So, they are in 3rd position with 9 points.

Lahore Qalandars has two matches left in hand but winning both of them will bring no change of them. In the season of PSL, every team will play total ten matches and top rated four teams will qualify for the next playoff round. So, Lahore Qalandars are already ruled out from there.

Pakistan Super League 2018 is staged at United Arab Emirates but couple of matches will be staged at Pakistan hopefully. In the tournament total six participants have participated which is more than the last season. Multan Sultans are the newest member of the tournament.

In the last match which was the 24th match in Pakistan Super League was taken place in 11th March, 2018 at Dubai Stadium. In the match, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to field first. So, Karachi Kings came to bat first and they played 20 overs. In the meantime, they scored 163 runs by losing five wickets. Babar Azam scored highest 61 runs in 49 balls for Kings. For Qalandars, Sohail Khan took three wickets in four overs.

163 runs was not an easy target to chase. But there was no other way but Lahore started to chase the score. They also played full overs but unfortunately their innings finished with 163 runs. They lost eight wickets so far. So the match was tied. Due to the reason, it was turned to Super Over where Lahore Qalandars did well and win the match. Their player Agha Salman scored 50 runs for the team got player of the match title.
