Lahore Qalandars failed to win once again

It seems that bad luck is still on the way to the PSL team Lahore Qalandars. Though, they are a respective member in Pakistan Super league but in the 3rd episode of the tournament, the team is passing worst time indeed. They yet to see any victory in the tournament but Lahore Qalandars failed to win once again and this time the match was against Islamabad United.

Lahore Qalandars has especially bad luck against Islamabad United where earlier this two teams faced once again. In 2nd March, 2018 they played for the first time. The match was drawn in 20 overs but later in super over, Islamabad United got victory.

Now, in 18th match of the tournament Islamabad United was scheduled to play against lahore Qalandars for the 2nd time in the ongoing season. In the match, Islamabad United won by six wickets.

Till now Lahore Qalandars has played six matches in the season of Pakistan Super League but won not any single times so far. So, they are placed on the last position on the point table. On the other hand, Islamabad United has played the same six matches and won four times so far. They are in the 3rd position on the point table.

Islamabad United which won PSL title once in the inaugural season that makes them counted by their opponent. Now, it seems that they are on the way to their next title in the season.

The last match which was the 18th match of Pakistan Super League in the season was a day/ night competition which was staged in 8th March, 2018 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

In the match, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bowl first. So, Lahore Qalandars came to open the innings earlier and played really well. In 20 overs Qalandars scored 163 runs in exchange for eight wickets. Anton Devcich scored 62 runs highest in 42 balls for Lahore. For United Faheem Ashraf took three wickets so far.

The score that was presented by Lahore Qalandars was considerable good. It was not so easy to chase. But one time title winner Islamabad United was experienced enough and chased it in 17.4 overs. They lost only four wickets where Luke Ronchi scored highest 77 runs in 41 balls. He played destructively and so, United got a very good victory so far. Sunil Narine bowled well but not enough to bring victory for Lahore. He took three wickets so far.
