Kumble will be coach till the tour of Windies

Anil Kumble will be able to continue as coach of India after the Champions Trophy. Until at least West Indies tour, Team India managing will be on his shoulders. Finally, the contract will be renewed or the new person will be appointed to see that is now!

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) can take a final decision on June 26 in the special general meeting. It is known that three-member advisory committee (CAC) along with Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, told to stay as coach until the tour of the Windies.

CAC met with the CEO of BCCI Rahul Zohri in London. It is said that it is difficult to remove Kumble from coach post at the moment’s notice. More time is sought to resolve the issue. This committee has chosen Kumble to head the contract last year as head coach.

India will play five one-days and one Twenty20 in the Windies tour The two teams will face Trinidad in the first one-day international on June 23. The remaining four matches will be played on 25, 30 June, 2 and 6 July respectively. Only T-Twenty on July 9
