Karachi Kings in the winning streak

Karachi Kings is one of the top participants in the season of Pakistan Super League where the team is showing their great form everyday. Till now, they played total three matches in the season of PSL and so, it seems that Karachi Kings in the winning streak and on the way to the title of PSL strongly. They yet to show any lacking in the ground and so, as the opponent of the title, they are very dangerous for any franchise teams in the season.

Karachi Kings started the very season of PSL with the second match where they beat Quetta Gladiators by 19 runs there. It was their first victory. Quetta was the back to back runner up in the tournament and so, defeating them was not an easy task. Later, Karachi Kings was scheduled to play their 2nd match against the running champion Peshawar Zalmi and defeated dominantly which was their 2nd consecutive victory in the season of the competition. Finally, in the next day they faced Lahore Qalandars at Dubai and beat them as well. By playing three matches, Kings won all three of them.

Now, if we consider the fact of Lahore Qalandars, they also played three matches in the season but failed to gain a single victory among them. So, their performance in the season are very depressive.

The match of PSL which was between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars was taken place in 26th February, 2018 and at the same ground of Dubai, it was staged. It was not a day/ night competition but full match staged at day light. Earlier in the day, Kings won the toss and decided to bat first. Considering the day match in the season of PSL 2018, first batting team used to win the match. So, came to bat Karachi Kings started very good and lost seven wickets in 20 overs. They did present a good score in front of the opponent. The score was 159 totally. Ravi Bopara scored a brilliant half century out there in 34 balls. Sunil Narine took two wickets for Lahore. Later, came to chase the score lahore Qalandars facing a batting collapsed and lost all wickets in 18.3 overs. So, the match was missed and in 132 runs they ended their innings. McCullum scored highest runs for the team Qalandars. he scored 44 runs. Shahid Afridi took three wickets for the Kings.
