It seems that the defending champion of Indian Premier League Mumbai Indians was under the pressure. But, at the end of the group stage, they have returned to their luck. But, the question is still there, will they recover their lose in group stage and qualify for the playoff or now. In the match against Rajasthan Royals which was the 47th match of the tournament IPL 2018, Jos Buttler saved Rajasthan Royals at Mumbai. It was a terrible setback for the local team. They had to win the match which was to wanted. The match against Rajasthan Royals was comparatively important for the local team.

Earlier in the first match between them in the tournament which was executed at the home venue of Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians faced their first defeat against RR. Now, by playing two matches against the same opponent, both times Mumbai Indians were defeated.

It was the 12th match of Mumbai Indians and now, they are in 4th position on the IPL point table. Top four teams will get qualify for the playoff round. So, till the end of the season, they have to keep their position safe.

On the other side, Rajasthan Royals are in 6th position and they have still one match in hand. If their calculation will be on their side, they have also a chance to move to the next level.

Two teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Supers Kings have already secured their place into the playoff round. Now, there are space for two more teams.

The match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians was the 47th match which took place in 13th May, 2018 at Wankhede Stadium which ground has located at Mumbai. In the match local team Mumbai Indians faced defeat in the toss and came to bat first.

Yadav and Lewis made a good start for the local team. Openers added 87 runs jointly where Yadav scored 38 runs and Lewis scored highest 60 runs so far. Among rest players only Pandya scored 36 runs. So, by losing six wickets Mumbai Indians scored 168 runs so far in 20 overs.

In just 9 runs the opening partnership of Rajasthan Royals was broken. But Buttler and Rahane took the lead of the game and made almost 100 runs partnership. Rahane scored 37 runs and Buttler remained not out with 94 runs so far. Samson scored more 26 runs. So, in 18 overs Rajasthan Royals reached the destination by losing only three wickets.
