Jerome Taylor Retired from Test Cricket

Almost five years since 2009 Jerome Taylor missed Test cricket. In recent past he was not regular in WI cricket team. So that 32-year-old speedster had to say goodbye to Test cricket.

However he will play ODI and T-20 cricket for West Indies. West Indies selectors would not select him for the upcoming test series against India due to his retirement announcement. That information has confirmed from the WI Cricket Board.

Jerome Taylor Retired from Test Cricket

Taylor, who made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in 2003. In his 13 years test career Taylor just played 43 matches for his team. In this time he took 130 wickets. Best bowling figure in innings was 6 for 47 against Australia at 2015.

His best performance with the bat was on 2008, against New Zealand. Scored 106 runs as number 10 batsmen. Taylor played his last Test against Australia earlier this year. Only two wickets in three matches in the series for him!
