Men in Blue which is simply known as India national cricket team, they are currently touring South Africa to make attend to their invitation. In the meantime, Cricket South Africa had a tour of Sri Lanka but due to some internal problem, they cancelled it and took the certain steps to make another event with India. They started their dual competition with long format cricket and now, they are playing the ODI series which consists of six matches. In the opening ODI which was staged in 1st February, 2018 India beat Proteas by six wickets. So, they too lead of the series. In the 2nd ODI, once again India won by 9 wickets at Centurion.

Through the victory, team India lead the ODI series by 2 – 0 games. It seems that they would love to take a revenge where they faced a series defeat against Proteas in Test this time. So, winning the ODI series they would love to make an even. In the match, Khaya Zondo made his ODI debut for South Africa.

The 2nd ODI between South Africa and India was taken place in 4th February, 2018 which was hosted at SuperSport Park, Centurion. In the match, Aiden Markram played as the captain which makes him the 2nd most younger captain of South Africa in ODI. Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. So, ca,e to bat South Africa faced a batting collapsed in the game and in 118 runs all wickets of them were gone. JP Duminy scored highest 25 runs for the team Proteas. It was the lowest total of South Africa at their home ground in ODI.

Later, team India came to chase the poor score and in 20.3 overs they reached the destination. Men in Blue just lost one wicket where Shikhar Dhawan scored highest 51 runs and remained not out. Kagiso Rabada took highest one wicket for South Africa.

Yuzvendra Chahal was announced as the player of the match due to his extraordinary bowling spell. In the match, he took five wickets for the first time.

Openers of Proteas Amla and De Kock played a bit where Amla scored 23 runs and De Kock scored 20 runs so far. In 39 runs opening partnership was gone and kust 12 runs later, 2nd wicket was gone as well. Since then no one could able to make any long innings. Duminy scored 25 runs, Zondo scored 25 runs as well and Morris scored 14 runs respectively. Rest players did not reach to the double figure at all.
