India close to win the Test series against England

BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has recently arranged a home tournament consists of only two teams named India and England. In this purpose, England is visiting India and the tournament has already started in last 9th November, 2016 with Test match. Till now, they have already play three Test and won two of them. Team England yet to win any match in this tournament where just two Test matches in hand. They are scheduled to play total five Test matches along with three One Day Internationals and three T20s. It is been long time that team India did not win any Test series over England since 2008. Back then, England travelled India and played a Test series consists of two Test matches. There India won by 1 – 0. After that series, the both teams played three Test series but in all case, England won the series. But, this time, team India has chance to win the series against them if they able to win or draw the fourth match.

According to the report, in the first Test between India and England which was staged at Rajkot, England won the toss and came to bat. There they scored 537 runs which was large enough but India was not so far behind. They scored 488 runs by losing all wickets. In the second innings, England scored 260 runs and declared the series but they failed to take India’s all wickets but took only six of them and as a result the match was drawn.

In the second Test, which was started in 17th November, 2016 India won the toss and scored 455 runs in their first innings. But England lost all wickets in exchange for 255 runs. In the second innings, Men in Blue added 204 runs to the scoreboard where England lost all wickets again by only making 158 runs. So, India won by 246 runs.

In their 3rd Test which was placed at Mohali in 26th November, 2016 England made 283 runs in their first innings where India scored 417 runs. England failed to add a large score but made only 236 runs in the second innings. So, team India chased that mere runs easily and won the match by 8 wickets.

Now, fourth Test is running since 8th December, 2016 and India has got chance to defeat England and win the Test series after long time.
