Suresh Raina may have been dropped from India’s ODI squad for the upcoming Australia series, but that has not deterred his morale by any way as he believes that such setbacks only make a person stronger.

“I am completely fine with it; in fact, I like such setbacks in life,” Raina told Sport360.

“You get to learn more from failures and such incidents. I can assure you that when I am back in the team, I will be a better person, a better fighter. I will come out stronger.”

Raina, however, found a solace at being retained for the three-match T20I series against Australia.

That he knows how fundamental the series would be for his future, the 29-year-old is looking to make no further plunge in the time to come.

“The next four-five months is my format,” he admitted.

“I am excited and I am working hard. I am going to make sure that I make a comeback into the team, and this time, I am not going out of it anytime soon.”
