India Beat England To Win ICC Champions Trophy 2013
Cricket fever will be on its highest when ICC Champions Trophy starts in the first week of June and will be played through the month with 8 of the top Intenations ODI teams will be taking part in what will be the most competitive event in recent times as any of the 8 teams going into the event can go on and win the Trophy. It will start on 6th June in England while the final will be on 19th June 2013.
Eight top 50 overs team has been invited for the compeition, divided into two groups containing 4 teams each where every team will place a match against the other three teams in the group. Top two teams from each group will make it to the Semifinals of the Champions Trophy. It is widely regarded as the most competitive event as there are no minnows, like Bangladesh or Zimbabwe and all the eight teams who are participating can go out there and win the event, specially sice aussie dominance is over.
Before the ICC Champions trophy starts we have some Warmup matches to look forward too, with the likes of South Africa, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan playing couple of matches each before the tournament starts and these warmup matches are International matches so we can expect some good cricket even before the event starts.
