Virat Kohli is giving it all in the ongoing Australia series, not just on field, but off it as well.

The Indian captain proved just that as he – and his wife Anushka Sharma – sacrificed their business class seats for the fast bowlers on the team’s flight from Adelaide to Perth.

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan, who was on the same plane, narrated the incident on Twitter.

“Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !!” he wrote to his 1.07 million followers.

“Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches #AUSvIND,” he added.

A fan put forth a sensible question, asking why didn’t all players get a business class ticket.

“Only 12 Business class seats … That’s why,” Vaughan replied.

Indian fast bowlers were brilliant in the first of the four-Test series that the visitors won by 31 runs.

“I think to pick 20 wickets with four bowlers, away from home, especially with a ball that does not offer you that much is something we can be proud of,” Kohli had said after taking 1-0 lead.

“We have to build on this. We can’t be happy with just one Test match. We will not be satisfied with just one Test.”

That’s some way to prepare your boys for the Perth wicket, isn’t it?
