Just few days ago Gayle have scored the quickest T20 world cup centuries at Mumbai. Also hold the most sixes in the T20I’s and beyond former New Zealand’s skipper Brandon McCullum (91). Either this, there have many more record for Gayle in T20’s. Let’s checkout those in below.

T-20 World Cup’s:

  • The quickest Century (47) balls in Mumbai vs. England.
  • Most Over boundary (60) in world cup. Which is the 62% of his career over boundary. None other batsman can’t did this. The second on this list is Indian Youvraj Sing with 30 sixes.
  • Most sixes in an innings of T20 world cup. In the last innings against England he scored 11 sixes. The previous record is also for him. On 2007 T20’s first innings Gayle hit 10 sixes against South Africa.
  • The most time 50+ scored in T20 world cup. 9 times he crossed 50’s landmark
  • The only batsman scored two 100+ innings in T20 world cup. The first time were the first world cup’s first match against South Africa.
