Finally Melbourne Renegades tested a defeat

Big Bash League is a top rated T20 league cricket competition based in Australia. Since the beginning already sixth season of the tournament have passed successfully. However, after IPL, BBL is regarded as the most popular competition where players from around the cricket world used to take part with different franchise teams. In the ongoing season, it is the 7th season of the tournament which started in 19th December, 2017. Already number of matches have passed and in the 10th match of the season, Melbourne Renegades faced the current champion of BBL named Perth Scorchers. And Finally Melbourne Renegades tested a defeat after getting two amazing victory in their first two matches.

On the other hand, Perth Scorchers kept their winning streak clear and won consecutive three matches in the season. They are also the most successful team in Big Bash and this time they are regarded as the most potential team and would win another title of BBL.

Melbourne Renegades also started the new season with victory and earlier the match against Perth Scorchers, this both teams won their first two matches each. So, in round 3, it was their first match and also it was their first head to head battle. Though, Renegades won their first two matches but against Scorchers, they did not manage another victory.

The match was took place in 29th december, 2017 at Etihad Stadium, Melbourne where Perth Scorchers won the toss and undoubtedly decided to field first. Melbourne renegades scored 130 runs by losing nine wickets in their innings which was not enough to beat the current champion.

So, came to chase the score Perth Scorchers did their job very well and in 19 overs, they successfully reached the destination. They lost total seven wickets to made the score. Michael Klinger was their highest scorer who scored 37 runs so far.

Captain Finch and Harris started the innings for Renegades. Finch was gone before opening the run account. Harris played a bit well by scoring 32 runs. Just five players of Renegades made it to the double figure runs where Cooper scored highest 34 runs for the team. In 20 overs, they lost nine wickets and scored 130 runs totally. Tye and Johnson took three wickets each for Perth.

On the other side, the openers of Perth did their job well and led their team to a good position. Openers added 58 runs when Willey was gone with 31 runs. Klinger scored 37 runs also. After the openers who did most of the scores, rest players freely took the shot and claimed another amazing victory.
