Sarfraz Ahmed Takes Afridi’s Responsibility

Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed were were chosen as the new captain of Pakistan T-20 team’s. He is currently playing role as vice-captain of ODI team of Pakistan. Now this experience campaigner has been replaced Shahid Afridi.

After a poor performance in the recent Asia Cup and the World Cup T-20, criticized Afridi stepped down from the leadership. Afridi himself stepped down as captain on Sunday.

Pakistan team also failed Twenty World Cup after the Asia Cup. As a result, the country’s cricket-policy inquiry (Fact Finding Committee) recommended to the Board to remove Afridi as captain’s seat.

Coach Waqar Younis and manager Intikhab Alam’s report also gone against Afridi, who announced the context of the allegations. Coach Waqar Younis report to the board after poor performance and failure to Twenty World Cup and the Asian Cup.  In response to the report ‘Fact Finding Committee’ recommended to the Board to remove Afridi as captain.

Further The Committee recommended that the to hand over captain to wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed after removed Afridi. Sarfaraz were lead Pakistan Super League (PSL) finalist led Quetta Gladiators.
