Finally team England is moving towards the whitewash Australia in ongoing ODI series. As a matter of fact, team England won by 6 wickets against Australia in the 4th ODI and now, they are just one step behind of whitewash Australia in the tournament. The local team England has won consecutive four matches against Aussie team where the ODI series consists of five matches. Team England earlier secured the ODI series by winning first three matches consecutively and now, they are on the way to whitewash Australia.

Australia is passing very tough time recently. Their regular captain Steve Smith along with number of top rated players were banished from international cricket for couple of months. As a result, Tim Paine is the current skipper of the team and there are few newborn players are in the squad. On the other side, team England has most experienced players in their squad which makes the differences between this two teams.

Australia and England are the two oldest cricket playing nations in the cricket world and both of them dominated the World cricket for long time. They are considered as the main rival teams as well. So, winning against Australia is always something more to the England.

In 21st June, 2018 the 4th ODI between Australia and England took place. The match was hosted at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street. There Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Earlier in two matches, Australia took bowl first and lost the matches. So, in the 4th ODI they decided to bat first. It was a day night match where Australia played very well. Based on the century of Shaun Marsh, Australia scored 310 runs totally. They lost eight wickets so far. David Willey took four wickets highest for England.

Finch and Head started to bat for Australia. Finch made a century in the match. He faced 106 balls and made a remarkable century. On the other hand, Head scored 63 runs. Openers added 101 runs jointly. Later, Marsh came up and managed another century out there. Based on their two players centuries, team Australia scored 310 runs in 50 overs.

Later, England came to chase the score. Openers managed 174 runs jointly where Roy scored a century and Bairstow scored 79 runs so far. By losing just four wickets team England reached the target in 44.4 overs. Since the beginning of the ODI series, Aussie bowlers did not provide better performance on the ground. In their 4th ODI, it remained same.
