England missed 2nd T20I against India by 5 runs in Nagpur

After facing a terrible defeat at the first T20I against England, India has successfully turned their back and achieved victory in the second match of the T20I series. Yesterday in Nagpur, they were about to lose but in last over drama, they breathe comfortably. The match was completely under control of England but in last over, they lost the track. India again failed to score more runs according to their batsmen capability and so, they made 144 runs in batting first. The runs was easy to chase by the English batsmen but they could not. So, the series has come to an equal position by 1 – 1. Now, the upcoming 3rd match of the T20I series will decide which team will claim it.

England missed 2nd T20I against India by 5 runs in Nagpur

In 29th January, 2017, the 2nd T20I match between England and India was hosted at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur where team England won the toss and decided to field first. Like the last T20 match, England thought to tie Indian innings within few runs. In that case, their bowlers were quite successful. England lost their captain Kohli so early with his 21 runs. Later, Rahul tried make a long lasting partnership but following two batmen bRaina and Yuvraj could not make two figure runs. Pandey tried to give him better company but scored just 30 runs which was the second highest score of Indian innings. Only Rahul scored highest 71 runs for India. At the end, India managed to score just 144 runs by playing 20 overs completely. English bowlers successfully tied them where Jordan took three wickets highest.

144 runs was not so big for the Englishmen and they were able to chase it in last time. So, they started to play frequently but suddenly lost their two openers Roy and Billings consecutively and fallen into a little pressure. But, they were capable to manage it. They gradually moved to the targeted score. In last over of the match, they needed 8 runs where they still had six wickets in hand but they could not manage that match but faced a dramatic lose. Root and Stokes bot scored highest 38 runs each for the team. Basically Nehra played the key role for India to tie English innings. Through the victory, India has joined to the race again. Their upcoming match which will be the last match as well will be staged in 1st February, 2017.
