Dhaka Dynamites lost by 4 wickets against Comilla

Dhaka Dynamites which is the most successful franchise team in Bangladesh Premier League by winning highest number of title of it and also the defending champion of BPL. They are also one of the founding member of BPL and currently playing the ongoing season of BPL. They were in the top position on BPL point table but in their last group stage match, Dhaka Dynamites lost by 4 wickets against Comilla Victorians.

Dhaka Dynamites won the toss and elected to bat first. The match between them was hosted at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Came to bat, Dhaka faced batting collapsed and scored total 128 runs and got all out in 18.3 overs. Comilla Victorians successfully chased the score in 19.4 overs by losing six wickets. Through the victory, Comilla is promoted to the 1st position on the point table and Dhaka demoted to the second position.

Sunil Narine and Evin Lewis started the innings for Dhaka but in just 12 runs, Lewis got bold by Hasan Ali. Later, Mehedi Maruf came up but made a 0 by playing 2 balls. Kumar Sangakkara tried to make a stand and played plenty of balls but his style was ODI suitable. He scored 28 runs in 30 balls. Sunil Narine made partnership with five player and it can be said that he played alone for Dhaka. He scored highest 76 runs in 45 balls. He colored his innings with seven 4’s and five 6’s. Rest players could not make any two figure runs at all. So, in 18.3 overs, they got packet by scoring jus 128 runs which seemed mere in T20 competition. Pakistani bowler Hasan Ali took highest five wickets for the Team Comilla.

In just 17 runs, Comilla lost their one opener Liton Das and in next six runs, Tamim Iqbal was gone. In the season of BPL, Tamim is not in good form but excluding them all top and middle orders got runs. So, with the team, Comilla successfully chased the score. For Comilla Shoaib Malik scored highest 54 runs. They took 19.4 overs to get to the destination. The bowlers of Dhaka Dynamites did not show extraordinary performance but Mohammad Amir and Sunil Narine took two wickets each.

Basically the team of Dhaka Dynamites is most balanced and has the ability to win the title in the season as well. But today was not their day and so they lost. But it’s true that their bowlers could possibly tied the opponent if batsmen could able to do their job properly.
