Comilla Victorians beat Chittagong by 6 wickets

Comilla Victorians is one of the two most successful team as well as a newest contender of Bangladesh Premier League which has won BPL in 2015/16 season and currently participating in ongoing season of it. They just made three appearances in BPL till now and touched the ultimate glory. They faced Chittagong Vikings in their last meeting in the season of BPL. And there Comilla Victorians beat Chittagong by 6 wickets. Till now, they played total four matches in BPL and managed three victories and rest match was lost.

In the season of BPL, the faced two matches against Chittagong and both times they beat the Vikings. Yesterday, Comilla Victorians won the toss and selected to bowl first. They tied Vikings in just 139 runs. In return, they easily chased the score. In 18.1 over, they reached the target by losing just four wickets.

After facing defeat the first match against Comilla, Chittagong Vikings were desperate to win the match. Their opening partnership scored 46 runs which gave them a remarkable start. But rest players could not do the same. They wasted bowls much and run rate was so poor. Openers Soumya and Luke Ronchi both scored 30 and 31 runs individually. Soumya took much balls to score that runs. Later, Dilshan Munaweera and he played just like ODI match. He scored 19 runs in 25 balls. Their wickets were in hand but run rate was poor. In 20 overs, they just lost four wickets but scored only 139 runs. That score could easily chase in the field. On the other hand, Victorians bowlers were quite successful. Though, they could not take much wickets but successfully tied them within mere runs.

In return, Comilla Victorians stumbled in just 7 runs. They lost opener and icon player Tamim so early. But rest players like Liton Das and Imrul Kayes took the lead and took their team ahead. They made almost 35 runs partnership by when Liton got out. Later Buttler came up and with Imrul, they added more than 70 runs to the score board.  Imrul scored highest 45 and Jos Buttler scored 44 runs for the team. By losing just four wickets, they reached their destination.
