Chris Gayle was the top news of the cricket world just a few days ago due to his in proper behavior outside the field and some wanted him banned from cricket for good. Once again, he is at the top of news and this time it has no bad meaning to it. This time, people can only praise him for his efforts as he just made a world record.
The record of the fastest T20 half century belonged to Yuvraj Singh and that was a record of many years ago. To be more precious he made that record over 8 years ago and Gayle just managed to touch that record.

And no, he didn’t break that record. To be more precise in some sense, Gayle did not even touch the record. But, he did manage to get to his 50 in only 12 balls and that is a real record.
However, Yuvraj made that record in an international match and in comparison Gayle did in a local tournament. So, technically, Yuvraz is stil holding the record but its clear that if there are 2 players in the world who can brake these record then that players would be Chris Gayle and AB De Villiers.
Thus Yuvraj mockingly tweeted that he wants Gayle or Villiers to make the 50 in 10 balls and then it would be a record..
