Brisbane Heat is a top contender of Big Bash League competition. The tournament is also known as KFC Big Bash League where eight participants used to take part. Brisbane Heat is one of them as favourite and strong franchise team which has played their last match against Melbourne Stars. It was a competition of round four and overall, it was the 15th match of the ongoing tournament. In the match, Brisbane Heat got a big victory over Melbourne Stars. Heat won by nine wickets where they had still 32 balls left. So, it was truly a great victory.

In the match, Brisbane Heat won the toss and decided to bowl first. On the other hand, came to bat Stars scored 141 runs by losing seven wickets in selected 20 overs. In return, Brisbane Heat started to dominate the Stars bowlers since the beginning. Their two batsmen Chris Lynn and McCullum were the two openers and started to make destructive shots. They yet to taste any victory in the season though they played already three matches.

Dunk and Luke Wright opened the innings for Melbourne Stars. But in 12 runs their partnership were broken. Dunk was gone with 5 runs later Wright was gone with 19 runs. Pietersen and Maxwell played almost well but their previous form was absent in the game. Pietersen scored 30 runs and Maxwell scored 50 runs. Rest players did not able to do their job well but though Faulkner scored 20 runs. Hastings was the captain but gone with a 0. However, their innings finished with 141 runs by losing seven wickets. team Melbourne Stars is very balanced and full of experienced players but their recent performance are not well. As a result, the team suffered.

Brisbane Heat used just three players to chase the score. Lynn remained not out with 63 runs who faced just 46 balls. McCullum scored 61 runs in 30 balls and Burns scored 18 runs and remained not out.
