After the 3rd day end Steven Smith were unbeaten at 70 runs. On that time Australia’s lead was 459 runs. Smith can take time for his century. But he couldn’t. At the ending of 2nd day Australia scored 179 runs for 3 wickets and there lead were 459 runs. Australia know West Indies have no ability to chase this target.

Hazelwood and James Pattinson started the innings for Australia with ball but most 4 wickets takes by Mitchel Marsh. He took 4 for 61. And second most wickets took by Nathan Lyon, whose have 3 for 85 runs and with this James Pattinson’s 2 and Peter Siddle 1 wickets makes Australia’s victory on 3rd day.

West Indies can add only 12 runs more than their first inning. And that can possible for Skipper Jason Holder and WK Dines Ramadin’s 100 runs partnership. That was nothing without delay of Australia’s victory on 2nd test. Ramadin’s contribution of WI innings was 59 from 90 balls. But best innings comes from Holder. The skipper scored 68 runs from 86 balls. The best scorer of first Innings’ Darren Bravo on pavilion only after 21 runs besides his name.

With that defeats West Indies named on their most 8 defeats in one calendar year after 2003 and 2005.  But West Indies can fill comfort that after 2012 Lords test against English that was for the first time to play 80 or more overs in an innings.
