The Tigers is currently touring West Indies and the United States and their tour purpose is to play a tournament against the local team West Indies. After 2014, the Tigers is visiting West Indies this time. Team Bangladesh has already played the Test series against the local team but unfortunately, they faced the series defeat against Windies. They failed to manage a single victory out there where they played two matches test series against West Indies. 2nd Test took place at Sabina Park, Kingston where after fourteen years, Bangladesh played a Test match. However, now they have ODI and T20I series ahead and to make a good preparation team Bangladesh has played a preparation match against UWI Vice Chancellor’s XI. In the match, Bangladesh won by 4 wickets against the first class team.

In 19th July 2018, the tour match was taken place at Sabina Park, Kingston where the Tigers faced lost in the toss and came to bowl first. However, local team UWI Vice Chancellor’s XI  knew their ground and took the right decision but they did not match with the Tigers. The Tigers are the far more strong team in ODI.

UWI Vice Chancellor’s XI came to bat at their home venue. Captain Walton and Chris Gayle started the innings for them. In 0 runs captain Walton was gone. He was bowled by Rubel Hossain. Gayle made a partnership with Jangoo and added 50 runs. By scoring 29 runs Gayle was gone as well. Jangoo scored 36 runs so far. Among rest players, Hodge scored 44 runs and Ottley scored highest 58 runs so far. They did play full 50 overs in front of the Tigers but scored 227 runs by losing nine wickets. Rubel Hossain took three wickets and Mosaddek took four wickets for the Tigers in the match.

Later, the Tigers came to chase the score. Anamul Haque and Shanto opened the innings for Bangladesh. In 0 runs, they also lost their first wicket as like the opponent. Anamul was gone with 0 runs. Shanto and Liton Das made a 90 runs partnership where Liton Das was the 2nd wicket who scored 70 runs so far. Shanto scored 43 runs in the match. Finally, wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim took the lead and left the ground with a victory. He scored 75 runs highest for the team. He played with Mahmudullah, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain and Mehedi Miraz. In 43.3 overs the Tigers reached the destination. They lost six wickets total and won by four wickets. Powell took highest for wickets for UWI Vice Chancellor’s XI.
