The schedule of Asia Cup has messed up quite a few things for Bangladesh cricket. Since for the first time Asia Cup is going to be held in T20 format, its a big change but the schedule is in a way that might cause the players both warm-up matches of the world cup.

the arm-up matches are scheduled on 4th and 6th march while the Asia cup is set to end on 6th March. Thats considering Bangladesh makes it to the final of Asia Cup. Actually considering the recent form Bangladesh is in now, its quite possible to see them in the final but either they get to that point or not, they will be missing the first warm-up regardless.

Warm-up matches is needed not only for getting the feel but also to get accustomed with host environment. although, the environment in India isnt that much different from Bangladesh but still the pitch and the condition is quite different.

As for other Asian countries like India, Pakistan and Sri-Lanka, they will not be playing the knock-out stage and thus they should be able to play the warm-up matches even after the final of Asia Cup. So, bangladesh wants to make their preparation complete in the Asia cup and will have to start their group stage match just after that if they make it to the final.

the first opponent for Bangladesh is Netherlands and the other two teams are Oman and Ireland. Bangladesh is expected to move from this group.
