Finally the Tigers lost the second Test as well against South Africa. Though earlier it seems they could turn their back and fight till the last but in fourth day, their second innings has finished. So, Bangladesh lost 2nd Test by an innings and 254 runs against South Africa at Bloemfontein. Kagiso Rabada is announced as the player of the match and Dean Elgar is given the awards of player of the series for his brilliant innings with bat. He made couple of centuries in both Tests.

After facing a shameful defeat in the first Test, it seemed that the Tigers could make the second Test exciting. They also won the toss as well and their skipper Mushfiqur made a mistake very early. He decided to field instead of bat and whole team has suffered for that.

To give the answer of South Africa, the Tigers became all out in 147 runs in their first innings. So, they fallen into follow on and forced to bat for 2nd innings. They tried to make things good but Proteas bowlers made some destructive spell in their home field and the Tigers batsmen could not face it. Not a single player could extend their innings and could not make any single fifty there. Mahmudullah scored highest 43 runs where Imrul Kayes scored 32 runs so far. In this situation, Bangladesh realised the demand of Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Tamim is suffering from injury and Shakib ie currently spending vacation but he will join the team in upcoming ODIs.

Nasir Hossain is just the other worthy all rounder abut BCB did not want to give him chance.However, rest players were totally flop in their second innings like first. Sabbir Rahman scored just 4 runs and the captain of Bangladesh Mushfiqur scored 26 runs for the team. Basically, it would be their another worst experience abroad where they finished their second innings in 172 runs. They finished their first innings with 147 runs so far.

On the other hand, Proteas bowlers were quite successful in the whole Test series. Rabada took five wickets in the second innings and also taken five wickets in the first innings as well. So, he has been given as man of the match. Phehlukwayo took another three wickets for Proteas.

However, came to field the Tigers by winning the toss, their bowlers could not utilize their opportunity and every single bowler was flop. They could not even break opening partnership so early. Their four players got century each in their first innings. So, based on that South Africa scored huge 573 runs so far.
