On both Tests, Bangladesh won the toss and made the same mistake by choosing balls instead of bat. So, they suffered in both matches. Batting, bowling and fielding all three divisions the Tigers were completely flop. Team captain Mushfiqur Rahim are regarded as the responsible in his decision and he would about to lose his captaincy after the tour. But BCB yet to make any final announcement.

In Test, Bangladesh is placed 9th position in ICC ranking which means they are not so worthy team in the long format cricket and they have basically lack of patience. But in ODI, they are regarded as one the rising star in the cricket world and recently showed very good performance. But in away matches, they are proven weak. On the other hand, Proteas is placed 2nd position in ODI ranking after India and no doubt they are very strong in their home venue. But they could suffer for Bangladeshi spinners. Basically in ODI Shakib will participate along with some all rounders. So, The Tigers would be strong enough to beat Proteas as well.

Team Bangladesh will play three ODI against South AFrica and their inaugural match will start in next 15th October, 2017. The match will take place at De Beers Diamond Oval, Kimberley. Later, they will also play a T20I series which consists of two matches as per the schedule.

However, Bangladesh has revealed their ODI squad recently and the ODI captain of the Tigers is great Mashrafe Mortaza. Perhaps instead of Mushfiq, Liton Das will be the wicket keeper in the ODI series. Nasir Hossain is also in the current squad who is an experienced all – rounder. Besides, Tamim Iqbal is also in the squad but his appearance in ODI series is still questionable due to injury.
