The 1st ODI against South Africa, the Tigers faced an impossible defeat. They were lost by 10 wickets. The team skipper Mashrafee could not believe that event after the match. This legend expected that Bangladesh could win with this runs. 278 runs was almost enough to win or even for fight and it would possible if they able to take wickets since the beginning.

However, Mashrafe still believed that if they could bowl well at the both end, then they could take wickets and the result would be different. In this wickets, with 278 runs was enough to win if the Tigers could strike at the beginning. From the both end, Bangladeshi bowlers could strike harder and then it would possible.

Mashrafe also realised that their bowling attack in the match was completely disappointing. Even if they could take may be five or six wickets in the middle of the game, the result could go to the Tigers side he hoped. However, he also knows that in the wickets there was not much for bowlers. Loose ball would be much worst than recent he thought. To take the wickets, bowlers much give pressure from the both side. But Bangladesh could not do such things.

In this kinds of wickets bowlers must maintain their partnership and in the match the Tigers failed to do that. So, taking wickets seemed real hard on them. This great captain of Bangladesh ask his bowlers to think what they done in the match. It was not in their plan. And also the Tigers are desperate to turn around from the moment.

Mashrafe used total seven bowlers but could not make any breakthrough into the partnership between Amla and De Kock. This two batsmen easily played all bowlers and it seemed they actually dominated them. Mashrafe still thought that if they able to bowl a little orderly, the picture of the match could be different.

Mashrafe faced a press briefing after the match where he stated that in this type of wickets, it one batsman got runs regularly than at the end of the crease, other batsman could play carefully. So, to take them or make them stop, they had to bowl very well and should maintain line and length. But in the match, their bowlers were completely flop and even could not make any breakthrough and so, Proteas won by ten wickets.

However, team Bangladesh scored a minimum runs where Mushfiq got a brilliant century and remained undefeated in the innings. The next ODI between Bangladesh and South Africa will be staged in 18th October, 2017 at Paarl.
