Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians to their fourth Indian Premier League title following their one-run win over arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings in the final, held in Hyderabad on Sunday night.

After winning toss and batting first, Mumbai rode on late exploits from Kieron Pollard (41 off 25 balls) to get to 149-8 in 20 overs. Chennai, in response, were led by Shane Watson’s 80 before falling apart as their innings progressed.

No wonder, Rohit and company burst into wild celebrations after Lasith Malinga defended two runs off the last ball, making it four wins in as many games for Mumbai against Chennai this season.

The captain’s wife Ritika and their daughter Samaira too joined in as the trio spent some aww-dorable moments together.

And guess what? Once all of it was over, Rohit was interviewed by none other than his wife.

“How does it feel to win your fourth title in front of Samaira,” she asked.

“It’s special… not just Samaira, but you also,” he said. “This is her first IPL. She’s come for most of the games. And yeah, I’m very happy.”

On being told she couldn’t watch the nail-biting last over, Rohit said: “I can’t do that. I have to be in the game. It was quite a tensed match. We all know how the last overs are. My heart was racing in the last over.”
