Australia Will miss Stark- Hazlewood at South Africa Series

At the end of this month Australian cricket team will tour South Africa. But left arm pacer Mitchell Starc and all-rounder Josh Hazlewood will miss the series. That Friday, Cricket Australia (CA)’s news according to a press release. Country’s cricket board has decided to rest this 2 pacer thinking about the next summer.

Currently, Starc and Hazlewood touring at the one-day squad against Sri Lanka. Hazlewood return home before the end of the series. And Stark will return to home playing reaming matches.

Aussie selector Rod Marsh said about Hazlewood and Starc’s, “a lot of pressure on their tour of Sri Lanka has been created. For that reason, Stark and Hazlewood need to rest. Moreover, in the summer there are 10 Test matches. ”


Marsh said, “during their rest some young bowlers will get a great opportunity to perform their own.”

After the fifth ODI against Sri Lanka Cricket Australia (CA) will announced squad for the South Africa. Australia will play a 5 matches ODI series in this tour. Frist of them will start at 30th September. The rest of 4 matches will be respectively, II, 5, 9, 1 October.
