However, team Pakistan is currently visiting Australia where they already played a test series and being whitewashed. So, they want to take the revenge by winning the ODI series. Though, they could not whitewash Australia and the Aussie already won two matches and took the lead by 2 – 1. Besides, Pakistan won the second ODI which almost after long time. More than a decade, the Green Shirts did not get a victory in Australia against Aussie. So, it was a great achievement for them. But, in the third ODI, Pakistan started to see hope to get victory but finally faced a terrible lose.

Earlier in 19th January, 2016 at Perth, Australia won the toss and came to field. But, the Green Shirts could not made a amazing start where they always faced a problem of opening partnership. Their opening partnership was broken when the team runs was just 36. However, the Green Shirts continuously lost wickets since the beginning and which why they could not make a large runs. Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam started to protest the Aussie bowlers but could not for long. Sharjeel scored a just fifty and Babar scored highest 84 runs for the team. After them, Shoaib and Akmal tried to add some more runs and both of them scored 39 runs each. As a result, the Shaheens made 263 runs by playing the complete 50 overs and in the meantime, they lost seven wickets. Aussie bowlers maintained the economy rate where Hazlewood took highest three wickets so far.

263 runs was not enough to beat Aussie batsmen but the Green Shirts bowlers took their first two wickets within 45 runs. So, it could possible to beat them if Pak bowlers did their job well. Besides, Pakistan showed poor performance in fielding as well. Steve Smith stood strong and led his team to victory . He scored unbeaten 108 runs in the innings and Handscomb scored 82 runs. They only lost three wickets to meet the target.
