Team Australia is currently travelling South Africa where they are in the Test schedule there. Australia recently won Trans Tasman Tri Series as the home venue and later, they have started their tour to South Africa. The purpose of the tour is, they are scheduled to play four matches Test series against South Africa t the away venue where Proteas is the local team. So, they have started the competition by playing a warm up match against South Africa A where Australia won by 5 wickets. Later, the main competition has started and now in the 2nd Test match, Australia got packaged in 243 runs in the first innings. South Africa is in bat according to the latest news.

Australia got packaged in 243 runs

Australia which is one of the two oldest Test playing country in the World won their inaugural Test match in the tour against South Africa. The opening match staged at Durban in 1st March, 2018. In the match, Australia won by 118 runs and so, they are now leading the series by 1 – 0 game.

But in the second ODI, they are under pressure and only 243 runs could not stop South Africa it seems. The match started in 9th March, 2018 where team Australia is led by Steve Smith. The match is hosted at Port Elizabeth where Australia won the toss and like the first match they decided to bat first. They did not able to play complete first day but finished their innings in 71.3 overs. They lost all wickets and their total runs was 243. David Warner scored 63 runs highest for the team. For South Africa Kagiso Rabada destroyed Australia innings by taking five wickets so far.

However, Australia started their first innings with Bancroft and Warner. Opening partnership was good enough and got some runs. They added 98 runs jointly when Bancroft was gone with 38 runs. Later, Khawaja joined with Warner but within next six runs he was gone too. He scored 4 runs so far. Warner tried to make partnership with Smith but within next 13 runs David Warner was gone scoring 63 runs. Shaun Marsh and Smith added few runs but they could not cross 30 runs milestone. Smith scored 25 runs and Shaun Marsh scored 24 runs so far. Another player Paine scored more 36 runs for the team. This runs were so poor and did not bring much change to the figure. Rest Mitchell Marsh, Cummins and Starc could not touch double figure runs so far. Lyon scored 17 runs and Hazlewood scored 10 runs as well. So, in 243 runs team Australia was being all out.
