Australia chasing 263 runs against Pakistan in Perth

Australia is currently chasing 263 runs which is given by Pakistan. However, they are playing the 3rd ODI against Pakistan which is started in 19th January, 2017 at WACA Ground, Perth. This is a day/night competition where Australia won the toss and let Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan scored 263 runs by losing seven wickets after completion of fifty overs.

Pakistan has already lost the test series completely  by 3 – 0 before the ODI series started against Australia. Now, they do not want to lose this ODI series also. Though, they have already lost the first ODI match against Aussie by 92 runs but in the following ODI was won by Pakistan. So, the ODI series is now equal with 1 – 1. The complete ODI series consists of five matches where the third match is going on.

Earlier today in Perth, the Green Shirts came to bat where Hafeez and Sharjeel Khan were the openers. Hafeez could not last long but scored only four runs and getting lbw by Hazlewood. Sharjeel Khan made a fifty and got bowled by Head. Later, Babar Azam stood strong but rest players of Pakistan could not give him best company. The players at the edge was continuously replaced their position but in the meantime, Babar scored highest 84 runs by 100 balls. His innings colored with four boundaries and an over boundary. Excluding him, Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal scored 39 runs each. Pakistan scored 263 runs finally at the end of the fifty overs by losing seven wickets.

There is a possibility that team Pakistan could win the match if they will bowl very carefully. Basically, team Pakistan still possesses the very talented and regarded the best bowling line up in the world as always. Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan would be the two key pacers in Pakistan team. Besides, they have Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim who are the spin specialist. Though, their main spinner Saeed Ajmal could not in the squad due the restriction of ICC about his bowling action. Due to him, the Shaheens could suffer. Besides, their another bowler Yasir Shah is in injury and also not in the best eleven.

However, according to the latest news, Australia has lost two wickets and scored 87 runs in 20 overs. Skipper Steve Smith and Handscomb are on the crease right now.
