As the first Bangladeshi Tamim Iqbal scored a T-Twenty World Cup century and it was the 7th in World Cup. Against Oman on Sunday he scored 5 sixes and 10 fours and he was unbeaten on 103.

In the earlier of Tamim. Chris Gayle, India’s Suresh Raina, Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene, Brendon McCullum, England’s Alex Hales and Pakistan’s Ahmed Shehzad was scored World Cup century.

Chris Gayle 117:

At the first match of the first world cup Chris Gayle scored century against South Africa in Johannesburg. He scored 117 in only 57 balls with 7 fours and 10 sixes. But at the end of the match, West Indies lost the match.

Suresh Raina – 101:

After the first World cup, the world cricket also seen century at 2010 world cup. And it comes from Indian left arm batsman Suresh Raina. Against South Africa, he scored 101 runs with only 60 balls, where he hit 9 fours and 5 sixes at Gross Aelita, West Indies.

Mahela Jayawardene – 100

At the later day of Suresh Raina’s century on the 2010 world cup, Sri Lankan legendary batsman Mahela Jayawardene scored the 3rd world cup century against Zimbabwe. He was scored 100 runs in 64 balls, with 10 fours and 4 sixes.

Brendon McCullum – 123

At 2012 world cup New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum hit a century against Bangladesh. He scored 123 runs in 58 balls with 11 fours and 7 sixes at Pallekele, Sri Lanka. This is still a record for the highest individual score in World Cup.

Alex Hales – 116 *

At 2014 T-20 World Cup in a dramatic match in Chittagong Alex Hales took the helm of England’s alone. In the way of 190-run target, Sri Lanka Hales scored 64 runs from 116 balls with 11 fours and 6 sixes and left the field after his team won. England won the match by 6 wickets.

Ahmed Shehzad – 114 *

Just the 3 days after of Alex Hales century, Pakistani Ahmed Shehzad scored a century against Bangladesh. With help of 62 balls he scored 111 runs with 10 fours and 5 sixes.

Tamim Iqbal – 103*

Tamim Iqbal scored the 7th Century of World Cup T20 history in this current world cup. The century comes from only 63 Balls with 10 fours and 5 sixes. And Bangladesh also won the match by 54 runs.
