Afridi the King of Six’s

Previous some days, some record of six in cricket has been written newly. Brandon McCollum made century of Six’s in Test Cricket. Previously this was only for Gilchrest. Some days before Chris Gayle made 600 six in T20 as the first batsman in the cricket history. But us has include domestic cricket as well. In one place Afridi is in top of Gayle and McCollum. He is the most six’s holder in International cricket.

In his international career including Test, ODI and T20I’s Afridi batted 498 innings and in this run he hit 465 six. Either in international cricket 400 plus six has only one another player, he is no other one than Gayle. In his 489 innings in international career Gayle hit 423 sixes. Afridi hit more than 42 six than Gayle by played only 9 more innings than Gayle. In 465 innings of McCollum, he have 381 sixes. 4th of the list is for Sri Lankan hard hitter Sanath Jayasuriya with 352 innings and for this he had to played 651 innings. After Jayasuriya, Indian former Skipper MS Dhoni is the 5th of the list with 291 sixes in his 427 innings. The most aggressive cricketer of current era South African AB de Villiers is placing just after MS Dhoni with 267 sixes in 416 innings. The all-time greatest batsmen of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is placing under de Villiers with 264 sixes.

The most sixes holder in Test is mentioned earlier, but most sixes holder in ODI’s name is goes to Shahid Afridi. With 351 sixes he is in the top of the table. No other names are listed in the 300 plus six’s. But New Zealand skipper McCollum placing top of the list of T20I with 91 six. In this case Afridi placing 6th with 62 sixes.
