When Chris Gayle is in his best, there have to change some at record book. At the last innings against England, where he played 100 runs with only 48 balls, is the 2nd century for him the world cup T20’s. It’s also scored as the first batsman in the history.

Till the last innings, McCullum was the most six holder in T20’s. But in the way to 11 sixes of the innings Gayle brock the record, now 98 six for this 6.8 fit’s. Before retired McCullum hit 91 six in 71 matches. But Gayle passed this only in his 46th innings.

This was the only stats of T20. Gayle is not so far behind in the other format. Gayle is placing in the 3rd place in the highest sixes in test. Though he is not playing test since last 2 years. The most six scorer in Test is now writing with Brandon McCullum. Before his last test innings McCullum hit 107 sixes. Without him, Only Gilchrest have 100 sixes in test. In 96 test he scored 100 sixes.

Gayle also placing in the 3rd at ODI ranking of most sixes. In 269 match he hit 238 six. But here Pakistani Shahid Afridi is in the top with 351 sixes. Sri Lankan great Sanath Jayasuriya, who have 270 ODI six.

But it have to conceding Afridi is the king if six, including all cricket format. But Gayle might beyond him very soon. In all international formats, only this 2 are the 400+ six holder. In 520 international matches Afridi hit 473 six. Gayle hit 434 so far, but he played only 418 matches. He only beyond 39 six from Afridi. But he also played 102 match less. So it can say, it’s not Afridi, its Gayle is the king of six, it we take a look of total number of matches.
