Former England cricketer Monty Panesar had his luxury car stolen by thieves on Sunday night.

He took to his official Twitter handle to share the news with his fans, pleading for information over his pinched Audi Q5.

“My car was stolen in London at 10pm on Sunday. It is a white Audi Q5 reg number FG62 YZZ. If you have any information please contact me or Police,” he wrote to his 155,000 followers.

He also posted a video of his vehicle that costs £50,000.

Panesar, 36, represented England in 50 Tests, taking 167 wickets with his left-arm spin bowling. He also played 26 One-Day Internationals and a solitary Twenty20 International.

Although he played his last match back in 2013, Panesar is yet to announce his retirement from competitive cricket.

He is currently participating in Britain’s Celebrity MasterChef. Turning into an all-rounder, maybe?
